Steve Michmerhuizen represented me in a civil matter in December of 2020. He treated me with the utmost respect, and made me feel comfortable providing my testimony in spite of the many disturbing details that it contained. He also stood by my side in court when the hearing took over 6 hours! Not once did he give the impression that I was taking up too much of his time or energy.

The best thing about Steve was his closing argument. He was able to highlight all of the damage that I’ve suffered and what an injustice it would be for the court to enter the Petitioner’s initial order. Upon hearing his final statement, it was clear to me that Mr. Michmerhuizen truly understood my plight. He understood the importance of having someone stand up for me, and he understood that it was an opportunity to finally bring me some closure. Truth be told, it felt amazing and it did deliver closure to my restless mind.

Steve’s legal assistant’s name is Selina and she was incredibly personable when we met in the courtroom. The two of them offered wonderful company to me during the 6 hours that we spent together.
